HOW TO DOWNLOAD Five Night at Freddy's 4 FULL (NO STEAM)
Weeks after the release of "
Five Nights At Freddy's 3," one ambitious fan has already made a version of "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" for audiences to enjoy. It includes a free demo and a very scary likeness of Freddy Fazbear.
The news comes to Design & Trend via the "Fazbear 4" page on
Game Jolt. The title was originally called "Five Nights At Freddy's 4," but its name was changed to add differentiation from future official releases by
Scott Cawthon.
As far as gameplay is concerned, Comical's "Fazbear 4" is a mixture between the original "Five Nights At Freddy's" and "
Five Nights At Freddy's 3." Players take the form of a security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, only this time there's one animatronic to deal with instead of four.
The main goal in this fan-made experience is to keep Freddy Fazbear away from the office. To do so, one must disorient him by cutting the power to the building intermittently. This may sound like a perfect line of defense, but troubles rise as ventilation quality worsens. Similar to "
Five Nights At Freddy's 3," the higher the vent meter gets, the more likely one is to hallucinate. The
let's play clip below shows that it's possible to see several versions of Freddy even though only one of them is actually real.
At the time of writing, the game contains five nights but is still in heavy development. In fact, Comical just added a slew of death mini-games a few hours ago.
Incompleteness aside, this "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" fan-made project certainly attempts to capitalize on what has made the source series so popular over the last few months. In terms of creation, the gameplay design has borrowed some of Scott Cawthon's assets while adding new ones as well.
Fan-made projects have been a slight source of controversy in the "Five Nights At Freddy's" community. Back in December of last year, BFPFilms424 released their own build of "Five Nights At Freddy's 3." Because the creator did not make it clear enough that the project was not a fan-made game,
it was forcibly taken down.
In this case, however, the name "Fazbear 4" makes it obvious that this is an unofficial fan-made release. Because many followers of the series believe "Five Nights At Freddy's 3" could be the
last title in a trilogy, this alternate build of "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" will have to do until there's an official update from
Scott.
"Five Nights At Freddy's 3" is available now on
Steam and
mobile platforms "Fazbear 4" can be downloaded as a free demo from the Game Jolt link above.
